Resources
The resource library provides access to resources such as reports, reference material, data sets, maps, photos, GIS layers and other informational resources relating to the Upper Fresno River Watershed. This site provides a variety of tools that allow you to search and browse to find the resources you are looking for. As you browse and search for information, you may click on the resources to view their associated metadata first and from there, you will often find a link to the actual resource for downloading. You are welcome to improve the metadata on any of these resources to help them be found easier, especially by location and keyword.

How to add resources
Resources are any content that will help share data in the Upper Fresno River Watershed. This includes, scientific studies, maps, contacts and other information. Please follow the steps below to upload a new resource:
Search to make sure the resource has not already been added.
Login and click on ‘my folder’ in the site menu bar.
Click on the ‘add item’ pull down menu in the options bar
Select and click on the ‘the appropriate content type (i.e., project, person, etc.). Note: if adding a project, person or organization, it helps to first make sure all the associated individuals and organizations have already been added.
Enter information for as many of the fields as possible, e.g. title, purpose, etc.
Click on the next button to enter the next set of metadata fields. Make sure to click on the ‘Save’ button at the bottom of each page after entering information. Note that information is not saved when clicking the next button, only when clicking the save button.
When you are finished and are ready to share your content with others, go to the 'state' menu at the upper right, and select 'submit'. Portal moderators will review your content and approve it for publication.
To edit information:
1. After logging in, find the informational page you want to edit.
2. At the top of the page, switch from the View to Edit format.
3. Make your edits.
4. Click on Save at the bottom.
5. Reread your edits to see if they are correct. Re-edit as needed.
